Personal Training

Conducted primarily in our specialist training room in the Ashford Medical Centre, Mitise Health’s personal trainers are experts in the fields of holistic health, post rehabilitation and body fat loss.

The privacy of the setting allows for a complete and thorough analysis of your lifestyle traits to be undertaken, completely free from judgement and prejudice, while also allowing us to get to know you better as a person.
Your first session will involve a look at your ability to co-ordinate and integrate your core musculature, a thorough postural and dynamic movement analysis to determine any musculoskeletal imbalances, as well as a discussion on your nutrition, metabolic type, stress levels and goals with regards to training.

Following this, your trainer will devise a workout plan that will aim to provide you with the best type of exercises and nutritional guidance for your body type and current lifestyle, which is usually undertaken through one on one training sessions, an out-of-clinic training program, as well as phone and email correspondence.

Our professional attitude and knowledgeable trainers will equip you with the knowledge, and provide you with the motivation, to succeed in whatever endeavour you wish.

Lifestyle Coaching

The way you currently live your life is reflected in the way your body looks, feels and acts. So want to make a difference to your weight, your health or your overall sense of wellbeing? Then consult with one of Mitise Health’s expert Lifestyle Coaches.

Our coaches will take you through a series of tests and questionnaires that are specifically designed to enable them to get to know your body from the inside out. Once assessed, you will be provided with three different home training programs covering stress response, exercise and flexibility, and a list of recommendations that, if followed, are guaranteed to change your life to what you want it to be.

Coaching sessions run for approximately 90minutes, with a follow up phone call a week later and then a second face to face meeting two weeks following. These are great for the time poor professional who wants to make a difference to their life, without spending hours in a gym.


Group Training

Looking for a great workout, in a fun, dynamic social setting? Then look no further then Mitise Health’s group training and casual group training classes.

Combining cardiovascular fitness, strength training and core conditioning, these sessions are designed to trim, tone and sculpt your body, and also provide you with the motivation and education to succeed outside of scheduled training times.

With our flagship casual class run on a Saturday morning* (9am – 10am at Kensington Oval, The Parade, Kensington) and a continuous run-out of other classes ranging from Boxing to BootCamps released throughout the year, be sure to check out our ‘Latest News’ page to see what is coming up soon!

I had been to nutrition seminars in the past and have left half way through as the content was too basic. I was glad Josh convinced me to attend his seminar Nutrition 101 in November 2010 as the content wasn’t basic but simple to understand so anyone on any level would benefit. The seminar covered a lot on the dangers of sugar and reasons why sugar is dangerous. I found this area the most beneficial and have now be able to relay this information on to my clients daily.
